Brian William
Loughheed
Brian was born the second child of William and Grace Lougheed on May 30, 1949. He was raised in Condor where he attended Condor and David Thompson schools. His post-secondary education continued at SAIT and he spent a number of years in Calgary, developing professional and business interests. Brian then returned to Condor to continue his inventive entrepreneurial pursuits, as well as his many interests. Brian believed in lifelong learning and enjoyed many careers. He enjoyed being a pilot, a firefighter, and even became an electrician in his fifties. Brian is survived by siblings Karen Lougheed, Bev (Bill) Thomson, Arlene (Ken) Waite, Daryl (Penni) Lougheed, as well as ten nieces, nephews, friends, and his firefighting brothers. He was predeceased by his parents William and Grace Lougheed. We will miss his fierce independence and inventive creativity. An open house will be held at the Condor Fire Hall from 1 to 3 p.m. on May 25. Donations can be made to the CRFRS Condor Station 20 or to the Condor Community Centre (e-transfer to condorcommunitycentre@gmail.com). Brian volunteered many hours for both organizations. Condolences may be forwarded to www.rockyfuneralhome.ca. Rocky and Sylvan Lake Funeral Homes and Crematorium, your Golden Rule Funeral Homes, entrusted with the arrangements. |
