Anne Soderburg
Feb. 25, 1926 – Feb. 1, 2024

Anne Soderburg was born Feb. 25, 1926, in the Dovercourt district. She had five brothers and three sisters. Most of her life was spent there, growing up and then raising her children. She enjoyed sewing, reading, visiting friends and family. Her greatest joy though was her trust in Jesus. She was very committed to teaching Sunday School and ladies Bible Study groups.

In retirement she and her husband Gordon enjoyed travelling, having grandchildren visit often, and all her crafts! Their move into Rocky put them close to all their interests. Mom always had an open door and a listening heart. She passed into heaven on Feb. 1, 2024.

She is survived by her brothers Joe (Marie) and Art; sister-in-law Shirley; two daughters Darlene (Len) and Sharon (Gary), one son Roy (Mena), grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held at the Church of the Nazarene in Rocky Mountain House, Alta., on Friday Feb. 9, 2024, at 1 p.m.

Memorial donations in Anne’s name may be either West Park Lodge, 5715 41 St. Crescent, Red Deer, AB T4N 1B3 or the Church of the Nazarene in Rocky Mountain House, 5340 59 Ave., Rocky Mountain House, AB T4T 1J4.
