Harry Brouwer
Sept. 24, 1951 – Feb, 6, 2020

On February 6, 2020, Harry passed away peacefully at home to enter his Father’s loving arms. He was born September 24, 1951, to Lucas and Jeanette Brouwer in Rocky Mountain House, Alta.
Harry enjoyed and lived a full life. He loved to be with his family and friends and leaves with us many happy memories. Harry was a very generous man, always ready to lend a helping hand, often before he was even asked. He enjoyed his work on various farms as well as his many driving professions. He also loved his time adding up leisurely kilometres during his retirement as he visited, tinkered and helped his family wherever and however he could.
Harry’s family will always remember him and his ready smile and animated laughter, as well as the countless ways he showed his love to us all. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 46 years Rita (Sytsma), his children, Chris (Lowell) Smith, Les Brouwer, Kerry Brouwer, Kelly (Shantelle) Brouwer; his grandchildren, Raylyn (Kyle) Smith and Kylie Smith, and Ryan, Jason and Sara Brouwer; mother Jeanette; siblings, Helen (Mike) Wevers, Art (Maggie) Brouwer, Trish Brouwer, Marj Machen and their families.
Harry was predeceased by his two infant brothers, his father Lucas Brouwer, his in-laws Peter and Jennie Sytsma, and many uncles, aunts and cousins. We rejoice in the assurance that Harry is now reunited with them in heaven with Jesus Christ our Lord.
A Celebration of Harry’s life will be held at the First Christian Reformed Church, Rocky Mountain House, Alta., on Thursday, February 13, 2020, at 1 p.m. Cremation entrusted to the Rocky Mountain Crematorium, Rocky Mountain House, Alberta.
