Chad Lane Larsen
Jan. 5, 1973 – July 30, 2018

Chad Lane Larsen passed away suddenly on July 30, 2018, at the age of 45 in Rocky Mountain House, Alta. Chad was born to Barbara and Rolland Larsen on Jan. 5, 1973, the youngest of five children. Chad was blessed to have three children.
Chad grew up in the Rocky Mountain House area. He spent many years in the welding profession which took him all over Alberta and British Columbia. Chad enjoyed his time helping on the family farm, mud bogging, and playing practical jokes on friends and family. He also enjoyed his mustang trips on the vast highway. In more recent years, Chad enjoyed what he called “Deep-fried Fridays” and log curling at the family pond. The pond was a special spot for Chad, for all the important people in his life always showed up for a visit. A lot of memories were made there through the years. Chad was known for putting others first in his life.
Chad is survived by his three children: one daughter Sommer Larsen and two sons Jessy Baier and Austin Leavitt; his father Rolland; sister Tammy Young and family; brothers Kent, Ivan, Curtis and their families. As well as his special friends: Sis, Tina, and Cal. Chad was a loving and caring father, son, brother, uncle, great-uncle and friend.
Chad was predeceased by his mother Barbara in 2015.
